Langhorne!
No Man's Land by L. Spencer Riggs Our second
book to be published in late 2004. The legend of the "Big
Left Turn" still lives on. This will be the definitive book
on Langhorne Speedway. "Big Cars," Midgets, Sprints,
Stocks, Motorcycles, Modifieds, and Championship cars ran on
the big circle and will be covered in this book. Read about the
infamous "Puke Hollow" and the brave men that raced
on this super fast but deadly track. From 1926 through 1971 races
were held at Langhorne. First dirt and later paved in the 1960s,
the track could not survive driver boycotts and the town of Langhorne
taxed it out of business. Today a shopping center is on the property.
Projected release date November/December. If interested contact
us info@pitstopbooks.com
and we will notify you when the book is complete. The final manuscript
is not completed yet so we don't know how big the book will be.
By notifying us you will have the opportunity to receive a autographed
copy of the book and Free Shipping if you decide to purchase. |
